Oh frell, I am such a Buffy/Angel shipper. I am an enormous globulous slut of a Buffy/Angel shipper. I mean, I know I've never really been satisfied with Buffy since S3, but the moment Angel showed up, looking much more dashing than he ever does on his own show (so they kept the special Angel camera on Buffy?), I was just, well, estatic.
I'm sorry, I know it's wrong, but deep down I must be just a giant Buffy/Angel ho and the last act of tonight's episode gave me enormous pleasure.
So, Dawn, evil all along or just uber bratty as usual? No, don't tell me. One episode to go, spoiled though I may be, I don't know all the details and I don't wanna.
Besides, who cares. I got to see Angel be Angel again. I just didn't think that was possible. I'm ever so happy.
Oh yeah, Roswell and Now and Again. Kind of dozed through those, though I taped 'em for that mythical 'later'. It was the day from hell. I was packing up to go when I was requested and required from on high, the very highest, to change over all the systems, only all the boys away, weren't they, so I had no access, no passwords, no permissions and no instructions. I am so screwed. Somebody's for a right fonging tomorrow though (and it'll probably be me). I was not impressed, esecially as my PC was crash happy, my IE crashed and burned and I'm still having ftp probs. Yup, definitely a proper fonging tomorrow.
Speaking of which, Bro bought me a Knights Tale on dvd. It's not a great movie but it's not bad. It always seems to be on when I'm working on the PC and I need something relentlessly cheerful when I'm doing that.
See, tv is good, tv made me happy, when nothing else could.
Looked up a few more articles on Ewan and the custard. Okay, so what is it with the Nivolas and extreme and kinky film sex? No, I don't want to know - scary visual place. With custard.
Speaking of Nivola, I watched a few highlights of Laurel Canyon again last night. What can I say, I'm a slave to my impulses. Besides, he's so darn cute and sexy and I lurve the dvd format: I can skip straight to my favourite scenes and I don't have to worry about turning the lilo scene into a snowstorm. If you've seen the film, you'll know the scene I mean. Damn, somebody teach me how to turn that into a screen saver - grin.
Ack. This is going to be a week, I see the ill omens already. First off, when I really didn't need it, the Auld Crone roused on me for walking out the door three minutes late. Petty, sure, but bear in mind that if I'm not allowed to be three minutes late on a cold winter morning, imagine how harranged I am the rest of the time. Grizzle. Especially as I was off to face the music over my lack lustre performance yesterday.
Oh, but it got better. PC was really sick so it had to be re-imaged, which meant saving all my dirty files to cd, then spending all morning re-installing as much software as possible. Being a web monkey though most of my stuff was an ecclectic rabble of freeware and shareware, so it's an expensive and time consumning bitch to reload the stuff, plus I have to buy two licences now - gone are the days when I could sneakily use the same prog on several PCs.
But wait, there's more (and you do not want to be handing me anything sharp and pointy right now): co-worker has announced a sudden move interstate. Which leaves just me, First Mate of the Titanic. I've already warned them that such a situation would be hard on the furniture (as I toss it out the window in a fit of picque). The really funny part was that after I said I'd be gone too if it wasn't for the 20 min commute, they started talking about packing me up and sending me back to head office. Yay, to the bright lights of the city. Nuts to the 3-4 hour commute though.
So that's my day so far. How's yours?
