So, anyway, wet, sleety sunday souvenier beanie arrived and it has been cold and absolutely bucketing like can't see out the windows lashing, ever since. Freaky, eh?
I don't mind, the cooler, damper weather is a more gentle aclimatisation than what I've copped the past week. And the poor garden was parched (Himself did an excellent job, but the westerlies are fierce, and I think he missed a few baskets down the back).
Anyway, I'm still at work, waiting for an approval that will never come so bang goes getting online tonight (late + no transport + wet weather = I'll be lucky to see my bed before midnight) and bang goes my day off on Monday. My much needed day off. Shoulda thrown another sickie this week - grumble. And it wasn't like I didn't have me head down a bucket last night as well, sigh. Missed most of Rex. We're up to the Italian series. The new Euro cop is kinda cute, but is he cute enough to overcome my ingrained with bitter experience antipathy towards the Italian police force? I doubt it.
Caught a bit of Eli Stone at last (it's been on, but I always forget/pass out). Hmmm...the show itself is an awful mash of Ally mcBeal and Touched by an Angel so no votes there but and it's a big but, Jonny is so damn adorable in it, just so cute. I'd file it under 'if there's nothing else on and you've nothing better to do'.
Wish I was home. I've a box full of clinkers (I found clinkers! I love clinkers) and a fistful of dvds to watch. Bugger.
PS. further freaky, after watching an actor slash his throat open with a prop razor on Midsomer and scoffing, well, life imitating crap telly, eh?
