how now

Went to lunch at the little restaurant I can see from my window (I had the salad, in case you were wondering). It certainly fits the description of cheap and cheerful. It reminds of of the restaurants Dad used to take us too out here when I was a kid, ie, the salad was a simple coleslaw like thing, but very cheap and it was lovely sitting on the veranda and there was a guy in the corner smoking a hookah pipe, the full caterpillar, so I'm feeling strangely mellow now. Don't worry, it won't last - grin.
