The day is saved. Just read the email Irene sent, and I quote:
- >>No, cause Sin says it can't ever be taken back or redeemed (but why did
she think I had those old teen beats from the late 70s for anyways?) (giggle)
OH MY GOD!!!!! YOU WERE A DUKES OF HAZZARD FAN!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so much better than all the other backmail material I have! (chortle, wheeze) Once again the Oz-Georgia connection raises its head! I suppose you also have old Hee-Haw tapes? Can see you now all black clad and goth-y hunkered around the electronic hearth watching the boys zoom around in the General. Oo, ouch, oo, my ribs hurt from laughing.
Call me weird, possibly the result of shopping at Kings for half my life, but nothing warms the cockles of my heart more than a well meaning rib digging. Especially when I deserve it, cause there is no excuse for my prior tastes. None at all. I try to explain that there was bugger all on tv back then, but that really doesn't excuse it. Not for the amusement my dirty little secret still causes me.
More from dearest Irene on fan fic:
>>Ah yes, what is it with fan fiction writers who insist on giving people babies? Homosexual immortals, vampires, slayers, anima characters, it doesn't matter. Everyone must breed. Wait, this also applies to certain screenwriters.....
Oh yeah. Angel's kid. Yowza. Mind you, I can't talk as I did give Ezra a kid at the end of part 6 of my fic. Of course, I killed it immediately in part 7. You never see the kid - its brief life occured between installments. Does that count? I guess I was borrowing from Angel now that I come to think of it but it serves to make Ezra seriously angry and gives him an affinity with Chris, at last. Can I plead plot device and at least Ezra didn't have the kid himself. Ewww. Hate those fics. No, my boy was just knocking out the required heir, nothing more J And I was thinking of all those infant mortality pics in the gallery exhibition. Honest, I was J
Ahem, not that you hit a nerve. Just been trying to justify this hackneyed plot development all weekend to myself but it gives him such nice scenes with Chris, I think I'm gonna keep it J. I need a few nice Chris scenes. Mmmm, Michael Biehn...was drooling over an Alien book I found second hand the other day.
Bless Irene, she's cheered me right up.
