  • Tue, 06:04: Cake! Upsidedown pineapple cake. Me in a nutshell. 1936 recipe. Thanks, Trove via The Argus.
  • Tue, 06:11: Saw the Grayson Perry show at the MCA. Mainly because I needed to use the loo, but it wouldn't be the first time I've done that.
  • Tue, 06:13: The class stuff and the rampant oedipal misogyny was a bit obvious, but at least it was more truly pop than the pop show last year.
  • Tue, 06:14: I also saw STC's Lear because nothing says birthday treat than a play about the terrors of aging and bitter family cruelty. Yup.
  • Tue, 06:17: Great seats, great actors, great performances, no set as always. Never fond of Lear but that's the most defintive production so far for me.
  • Tue, 06:22: Everyone else had stunnibg weather while I spent long days at my desk at work. So niw my time in lieu involves 'minor flodding'. Cheers.
  • Tue, 06:24: Also hot water bottles. Have spent all day sulking with dvd. Damn. 35+ years to get over Illya Kuryakin and then one smile and I'm undone.
