- Sat, 06:39: Next day I went to the Audrey Hepburn exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. Because when I was a teenager it was all about Audrey.
- Sat, 06:41: Simon Schama seems t have been let loose to personally curate the rest of the NPG. Because Simon, I guess. I quite liked his themes.
- Sat, 06:43: Then 90% of the National Gallery was closed due to staffing cuts. Bugger. It meant a quick visit, but I saw none of my faves. Double bugger
- Sat, 06:44: There was a painting that looked like Streeton amongst the Impressionists. It was! Bright sunny Coogee amongst all the French fields. Hee.
- Sat, 06:45: Because when I was a teenager it was all about the Oz impressionists :) 'Blue Pacific', 1896, on loan from private collection, on the card.
